Using a check valve will increase tank pressure, but when you idle down throtle, tank pressure will drown the venturi. Usually a Cline or Iron bay fuel regulator is used in conjunctionj with the one way valve; I have heard of where the low end could be leaned out with the use of a check valve only but I haven't tried it.
