Default RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread

With no body and a 19t pinion I got it to 52mph. With the 18t pinion I measured 45mph, but I think I could get it a bit faster on a fresh battery.

The body is the Proline Baja Bug. It's the short chassis one for Savages I think. I originally used it on my Nitro storm, hence the air vents.

I've had a bit of a fondle with the settings, at the moment I have punch at 40% and no torque control. I've used torque control, but I noticed an increase in temperature. I might try it again now that I've got a smaller pinion. I hated the effect torque control had on reverse though, reverse took a while to kick in so I might increase reverse power when using torque control.

Does anybody else notice an increase in ESC temps when using torque control? If anything, I thought temps would decrease due to a lower amperage being drawn.
