Give them a go, i would buy 2nd hand, Align make pretty good gyros which you can purchase 2nd hand rather cheaply, I would put the gyro on a switch so you can turn it on or off and see if it helps.  A gyro may or may not help you but in all honesty you are most likely just going to get flamed for asking the question.<div>
