Years ago before all this fancy computer mixing we used to dial out unwanted tendencies by changing the incidence of the wing and stab or adding or removing dihederal..
pkoury,

So without mixes, what would be done to the geometry to stop the plane tucking toward the belly in KE?... Anhedral stab maybe?

If I remeber correctly it would start with moving the CG and then I would go in and increase the angle of incidence in the wing and test fly. Keep playing with it until either you corrected the problem or just got tired of messing with it. After every change, one at a time, you would need to start over in the trimming process. Look at the Pheonix series of pattern aircraft, each one had changes made to correct unwanted tendencies. Phoenix 7 was a great airplane. My favorite was the Bridi UFO. Just enjoy the capabilities of the new radios but I recommend getting the setups as close as possible mechanically before playing with the electronics.
