Here are some pics of one that my father built. Mods include, shortened the nose, widened the fuselage from the nose to the cockpit, enlarged the flaps, outer wing panels are fabric, increased the taper on the outer wing panels.[img][/img]
Looking at your picture I have to say I like the mod to make it an F4U-1 with the bird cage canopy vs. the F4U-1A with the bubble canopy. That is a nice touch!
