I would recommend getting retractable blades and the xtreme hard blades. I haven't replaced a blade since I got these and have had a few pretty heavy crashes. They're nice and durable, appear to have a significant amount of life over the e-flite blades, and are pretty indestructable. It is strange adjusting to blades that fold, but well worth it.
