Default RE: Good buggy 1/8 scale

Hm...ok, you like the second one better. Let's compare...

Chassis, fuel tank and plastic parts are all exactly the same (the Virus is a near identical copy of the Hyper 7).
The servos will be exactly the same.
The radio with the HoBoa car is not as good as the one with the Virus. The Ansmann radios are excellent 2.4Ghz units, one of the best things about the cars.
Can't comment on the engine, as I know nothing about the .28 that comes with the Hobao, but who keeps the original engine for long anyway? It will do for starters, and I highly doubt its worse than the .28 in the Hobao.
Then there's the PBS suspension on the virus, which some people like and some poeple don't.

The Virus is better, I promise, not by much, the radio tips the scales. Ansmann plastics are awesomely hard and durable.
