Depending on the bottom that one looks like it could be hard to see in the air. Covering job looks pretty basic too. Just by adding some curves instead of straight lines would have smoothed it out. I'm color blind so I like contrasting colors on my planes.
Either engine but I would go with the 4 stroke just because I like them better then a 2 stroke. Pretty much any 40 size engine will work in the plane.
