LOL yeah I run JP-8 which is the military Jet A-1, and per the charts JP-8 is 6.75 pounds per gallon. I am glad I fly and have good relations with our refuel guys. The Apache holds, 156 gallons in the front tank, 220 in the aft, and the internal extra tank is 100 gallons. On a normal summer day flying I burn on average 850-1000 pounds and hours.
156+220+100=476 gallons at 6.7lbs per = 3189 pounds of fuel

The local airports love when we have to swing in a fill up, coming back from cali head back to savannah we had 24 64Ds stopping about every 3 hours refueling on the way back lol
