Default RE: Tire Wobble driving me insane

As others have mentioned, that amount of play is normal. The clicking noise makes me suspect either play in the bearings or the axle is slightly too small in diameter. Considering you've only had your Rustler for a couple weeks, I wouldn't think anything else would be wrong...like the king pin enlarging the hole in the steering block, play in linkages, etc. If the vehicle sometimes pulls left and other times to the right, it could be transmitter problem, bad servo, play in the servo saver...amongst other things. I had a similar problem with my Rustler and after taking out all the slop in the linkages, new caster & steering blocks, removing the servo saver (I have an all metal gear servo), and turning down the dual rate it's a lot better. As far as the tire wobble goes, that's normal and your tires actually look pretty decent in that regard. One thing I've found is that if you mount the wheel and the tire wobbles badly, take it off and rotate the wheel by 60 degrees and try mounting it again. If it still wobbles a lot, rotate again in the same direction. For some reason there is position on the hex that will run the most true...not sure why.
