I have a JR xp783 transmitter and a Hitec supreme 2 autoshift reciever mounted in a great planes Sukhoi.
This plane has a Fuji 43 cc with electronic ignition.
When I leave the the electronic ignition in the off position(I have a servo connected to turn the ignition on and off) and range check the plane it has excellent range with the antenna down.
When I range check the plane with the ignition on and the motor running I can only walk away from the plane 25 feet and the control surfaces start to move and the engine will rev up and down without out any input from me on the radio.
Any info on where to start to correct this problem would be greatly appreciated.

What you describe is very common. I have experienced this many times, with 72Mhz, over the past 33 years. I have an H9 P47-150 with a Fuji 32ei, that used to glitch every time I ran the motor, until I rerouted the antenna and got rid of a reversing Y Harness.
I have sinced switched to 2.4 and been very happy.
