Default RE: Which controller for Leopard 2A6

The Leopard has a few more functions than a standard Tamiya or HL tank so i would get something with at least 6 channels, maybe 8. The Futaba radios have some very nicely priced 2.4 computor radios available now and Airtronics has a great 8 channel. the draw back to the airtronics is you must use the 8 channel receiver made for that radio and it costs anywhere from 60 to over 80..00 dollars depending on where you buy it.<div> The Futaba receivers are much less and you can use many more combinations of TX/RX with them. It basically is up to user preference.</div><div>Do some research and checking on your own and decide what is best for you. No one can really tell you what YOU want from a TX/RX so the user really needs to do some home work.</div><div> You can use a simple 4 channel radio like the Futaba SkySport 2.4. It is a nice radio but most people my self included add 2 momentary switches to activate the main gun and machine gun, instead of moving the trims and flipping the levers to fire the guns. </div><div>that is how all Tamiya tanks are set up to fire the guns. Not much fun when you are in a really tough spot in a battle.</div>
