I notice that OS is not including gaskets with their glow engines,,,,,Is it necessary to have one or not,,,seems ti wise to have one for leak situations an d vibrations how about a little permatex?

I never use the gaskets. I use a light film of high heat silicone and have no issues. As a matter of fact it sticks so well the silicone can be hard getting off
A little light sanding on a machined surface can keep them smooth and without any potentials for leaks.
