no clue on BL with a stock TT01 I replaced my diffs gear set with a DF-02's metal diff gear set, put steel outdrives, and CVDs on it right out of the box with a BL motor.

and yes all the tamiya kits I've seen come with that teu104 bk, and a motor. I got a nice collection of unused ESC's sitting here courtesy of tamiya. I'd prefer a servo instead of that ESC (IMO it would be fine with a BEC)
I have no idea what you justsaid

My question is, when I buy the kit, I want to use my futuba radio I have lying around on it.

I don't have a reciever, servo, or crystals for it.

What do I need to do to make the kit move?

futaba receiver with a crystal to match you radios, and a servo

my post was more based on your concept idea about the TT01
