Default RE: Just ordered a MoJo .60

ORIGINAL: Mudball3

Thanks for the info, Im gonna give those Savox a try. When i bought the Mojo 60 kit I might have been a little nieve. I figured since it was a profile it would be cheap, I was wrong. Im not going to cut corners on the gear though. I going to try that ST S90 engine with the Jett muffler and try to prop it between 11 and 12 thousand RPM. If it doesnt do well I may try something else. I should have mentioned earlier that this is going to be my first venture into 3D flying. I have wanted to do it for a long time but I just couldnt see shelling out the cash for the 50cc and larger scale planes. I just need to figure out how I am going to cover it. Do you know were I can get large orange Futaba stickers for the top of the wings? Any more tips would be appreciated.

thanks
Your ST .90 will be plenty. I'm even using 0% Nitro fuel. I've been flying mine now for the past 3 mornings. Just maidened it Sunday morning. Had a MA K series 14x4 prop on it for the first couple of flights. It would rip the snot out of it, but I could tell it wasn't efficient. Put on an APC 15x4W and what a difference. I have an APC 14x4 that I might throw on to see if it's any better, but I'm pretty happy with the 15. I'm going to finish up the trim on the wings and stab this afternoon. I'll post pics when done.
(By the way, mine came in at 6 pounds, 10oz dry with the stock muffler. A123 2300 battery pack. Plane is a floater.)
