You know looking at these photos Jack it really looks like something else happened here... sticks all secure... one burner lit less than others... usually there is more of a smoking gun to cause this sort of damage...

just removed my 1400 from service after 22 hrs, about 100 flights-'07 vintage. Max RPM was dropping off.
found the NGV with some cracks, CC doesn't look bad, all the sticks are secure, a few have a buildup on them.
when doing the birthday candle test, only one ejector had a minimal flame. I suspected worse.
It's been a good motor and no flameouts.
Where's a good source for the NGV? talked to Mark the other day and have a call in for Glabe, but no response yet.
anyone getting parts from him?
will the Wren 54 NGV fit and can we get them?
who would be a good one for balancing?
