I should probably mention that I had planed on running a ST 90S engine with a jett muffler since i already have that. The other engine that I have is a YS 140 but that would just be to much.

Whether or not the ST 90 works for this application isn't so much how much power it has (it has plenty) it's more a question of how well you can tune it to transition through the midrange, where you will be spending lots of time. Much has been written about the ST carbs and their shortcomings, so I won't go into that here, but if you're new to 3d, what you really need is an engine that transitions well throughout its midrange. Mr. Bigg, if you have a ST 90 that transitions well, you're a lucky one indeed. I'm sure there are some ST's out there that tune well for midrange, but that hasn't been my experience.
