Hi,

I'm build a West Wings Orion E kit which has the new brushless motor on it. I've bought my covering for it which is Profilm and my question relates to whether I need to buy a hobby iron or whether I can use a travel iron?

I don't have much money as I've already paid out about £140 on the kit and parts I need to adapt/complete it including the covering and an aileronconversion.

The power setup is a 60 amp speed controller (over kill as the motor only draws 12 amp however my money is limited and I had this for another aircraft with a Scorpion 2212/26 from Micron with a 2200mah 3 cell lipo. The motor will spin a 10x5 folding prop. Again something I bought for another aircraft.

My style consultant left me alone in the model shop for five minutes and before she knew it I was walking out with fluorescent pink and fluorescent blue.

I hope to do a build log when I start building it.

Anyway if anyone can answer the question whether I need to buy a hobby iron or if a travel iron will do please let me know.

Thank you.<br type="_moz" />
