Default RE: Neptune ARF advice on 1st seaplane? Construction tips?

Finished!

I'm finally finished repainting the cowl and last night I did the ballance. It was difficult to get a accurate ballance the right way because the plane is top heavy with the engine pod and all, so I flipped the plane upside down and got a more accurate CG. I'm a little nose heavy, but I got it very close around 4" (or slightly less) mentioned in the manual the best I could. Id rather be nose heavy than tail heavy if you know what I mean.

It has no foward hatch as a few of you know, so I had to add a few ounces of lead weight as far forward as much as possible. (Right beside the inner engine post support) Horizontal balance was about right on.

I got the flapperons working, and I have the max on the throws just like I set it on my first Neptune, and I have the Expo set at about 60%. I'll start charging everything up and should float test and maiden by Thurs or Friday depending on the weather.

Looks good even without any stickers on it!
