yes it can be done where you could put your brake on a slider or switch that you could activate after separation..

DSM2's are bound at the same time because the receiver accepts the GUID, which is generated at startup when the bind button is pressed.

I dont know on DSMX , as the two way interaction may require separate binding sequence since the transmitter is listening for a ping from the receiver during bind.
Sorry but thats not correct.

The GUID is fixed in the firmware of the transmitter. On module based systems the last two digits are 00 (no model match) and on native systems the last two digits indicate the model memory to make the GUID of each memory location unique thus giving you model match.

It's not generated when the bind button is pressed.

DSM2 or DSMX you can bind one at a time.

Think about it, if a new guid were generated when the bind button were pressed, what happens when you do a range check?
