I use a tiny bit of CA (super glue) on the treads before I put the nut on and so far I have not had any problems with them. My preference would be the Red colored thread locker if I had some. I live about 50 miles from the nearest LHS, so I have to improvise some times.
The safety aspect of these machines is at the formost of my mind. Thats whats so good about these forums. I can read about ideas that work and those that are more apt to fail. It makes for a much safer day at the heli field.
