Default RE: Hobby engine LEOPARD A25/A26

Dear Panther G

I have plane to purchase a Leopard 2. Tamiya is very expensive (but I think tath is the better option). Recently I have seen your post abouth the Leopard 2 Hobby Engine modifications. I think that this possibility is more economic: Leopard 2 from Hobby Engine, tracks and drive sprockets from Tamiya and Heng Long electronic and motors.

My principal problem is to adapt the Tamiya sprochets to the Heng Long motors. Is better to use a solid aluminum piece? or another possibility more easy exists?

I have supposed that the roadwheels must be modificated in order to be adapted at the space track. This modification is easy? Is neccesary to dismount the roadwheels? Is possible to use the Tamiya roadwheels or this option is not ppossible due the torsion system of models.

I thank you any help to this respect.

Awaiting your news, best regards
