RE: Not one single kit!
the bulls$^& never ceases! kits at one time were all that were available ..so if you didnt build you didnt fly.yes builders are a highly respected group.I am glad that I got to build its extremely satisfying when a model makes it maiden flight having spent several months laboring .theres no shame in owning an arf either.some are very goodand lot of them are cheap crap.I wish there were more kits but ecomonics dictate otherwise and I'll say it again we brought on ourselves as a culutre and its likely things will never changeback.I never knock arfs but sadly I absolutely shudder at foam planes.it takes no skill or talent to produce a foamie.while great for cups I hate thinking about buying a plastic foam plane.the arfs that I have assembled and I said assemble not build are butt ugly.but if that gets you to support the hobby welcome..but come to top gun and scale masters and appreciate the skill and knowledge it takes to create a plane.otherwise lets just go flying and enjoy each others company.
