Woke up early, for me anyway, and was at the airfield by 8 this morning. There was maybe 1-2 mph wind gusts, completely blue skies, and only mid-seventies. I think this was just about the most perfect flying day I have had in the 3 yrs I've been doing this. I flew the R70 and the 3DHS Edge 540 this morning. The Edge 540 will now knife edge with only rudder\throttle inputs...no hands on the second stick! I don't think I've done any mixing on the R70 yet. Now that I've seen what it has done to the Edge 540, I'll start on the R70 soon. Anyone have any experience with AW Extra 300 or Extra 260? They have .60-.90 versions of these planes the hover, barely, with a 60.
