Look to your own posts for qualification, it's all there.

Thanks

Every time some one says kits we get arf,ers who get defensive about building a plane. They lurk in the shadows waiting to pounce on builders and craftsmen . This thread was about not finding any kits in a hobby shop and it always ends up as arf guys saying us builders are picking on them . I think it is sad that they feel this way but if you cant build or wont dont blame us for your finding this thread and butting in. If the thread said we cant find ARF,s at our hobby shop i dont think us builders would be chimming in unless to say great get a box of balsa a plan and start building. lol OH! one more fact this post is in the kit building section so why are the arf,ers even looking here? I rest my case . JOE
LOL..Joe, you couldn't have said it better.
this thread had nothing to do with the ''<u>build by numbers(er pictures)'' group</u>, but they make their ignorance known all to well.
take 'em with a grain of salt as they would have problems with true <u>canvas artists </u>because they <u>can only do the paint by numbers stuff........LOLOLOLOl
</u>
<u>kits are precious these days</u>, and while the world has turned to ARF's, so has the art of our hobby gone down the toilet...........most of the ARF flyers can't even tune an engine without frying one to bits or worse gettin their fingers bit.
the old days of learning to build, engine running etc are long gone.............even control liners laugh at the ARF crowds..................
Hmmm...so you are saying is that you cut all the wood to shape with no instructions as a ''canvas artist'' would? Nothing there and you create it out of thin air. I have built both, a kit with laser cut wood and molded pieces is just an ARF that has not been assembled by someone in China, you're just finishing the work.

I don't get defensive about people who ''assemble'' a kit with precut wood and extremely detailed instructions. Just don't appreciate all the BS. If you truely want to be a canvas artist then buy some plans and get to work. This is one of things I have always wanted to do.

Good luck to all in whatever sparks your interest!
not totally in thin air, and not with detailed instructions, but one or two like these from time to time.
