RE: transmitter upgrade
There isn't an upgrade to a 7C transmitter that is not already on the 2.4 GHz system. You would need to re-work the internals of the transmitter. The cost to perform such an upgrade would exceed the cost of a new unit. It would actually cost you less and be easier to just purchase a new transmitter.
