Probably the best black top field closer to Liberty is the Jacomo Lake RC field. There are other fields closer to Liberty that you will see when you do the search. Sun Chasers is probably the grass field closer to Liberty. Of course, we could get together for some practice. I fly pattern mainly in two fields: RC Barnstormers and the 95th street group. 95th group (private field) is probably the best for practicing electric pattern since is usually not busy. It is about 45 minutes drive from Liberty. I passed your request to a pattern friend that fly at Sun Chasers. He will probably respond to your request here.
