Skooter, we all race for fun, but it’s more fun when you win. Here in central Texas we use 40 size sport engines like the Thunder Tiger Pro 40 and the GMS 40 and we follow the Club 40 rules as posted on the RCPRO web site. All planes fly at just about the same speed so it’s the piloting skill that wins the race. The really good pilots have to have their fingers taped together to give the slow guys a chance. I’m still trying to get the sticky stuff from the tape off my fingers.
