Well, for a start the low speed running is far better with the tamiya dmd, speed transitions are far smoother. Also as Ive said before I can do spot turns locking one track with the tamiya where as the rx-18 wont let me. Again this could be down to the shoddy HL controller. Would be interesting to see how this would change with a proper hobby grade radio!
i think i may agree with that point tom i have tested 3 different controllers H/Long and they all have varying differences in how i can control the tank
