Default RE: St Clairsville Contest

Arch,

How about renting a trailer? How you pack it is up to you(planes and gear or wife and kids). After all anything is better than riding out a hurricane. Take it from me, I have lived here in central Florida since 1992 and have seen more than anyone's share of hurricanes.

PS-Any of you guys talking about Wheeling ever hear of a club whose name I believe is The Wheeling Hill Hoppers? I was a member in 1975 but I moved away and never was able to return. I used to buy all my "stuff" at the LHS in Wheeling, and we did our flying on top of a hill that was situated between Wheeling, W. Va. and Washington, Pa. Crashed a lot of birds in the woods surrounding that field, mostly due to radio clitches.Spent more time searching for wreckage than flying.LOL. Always found them though. The Phoenix was the most popular pattern plane back then and we had some pretty accomplished pilots. At any rate, I just wondered if they were still around. Thanks!
