Turnkey - All brand new items, no flight time, no run time. PERIOD
Second-Hand- most if not all items used. Flight time could range from 1 flight to 1,000 flights. Condition anywhere from excellent/brand new to ''what the hell did i buy''
Thats why you have to be careful and use common sense. You can find some great deals on zero time airframes. How much are you willing to trust the seller, that takes experience.
Regarding buying a restored car for $40,000, thought the point of the hobby was retoring it? I have friends that do and making a profit isn't even considered.
