RE: Normal Dbm readings?
Ok,
Now I can tell you that there is someting VERYwrong with weatronic system. today I crashed another plane. Just like the previous corsair that I would have declared it as WEA failure (as I did see the error light in the transmitter). That time Idid not see anything wrong in the log file as there nothing on it his time.
But,t his time I know it to be a WEAfailure since the engine did not quit (as it should have been on failsafe). I had time the switch off/on the transmitter before the crash. Before the shutdown the logfile showed everything is OK ( and it was NOT). and in the next log file it gets nothing from receiver. The receiver log file is showing that for the whole flight RX2 has been offline but has been working well anyway. After failure, the receiver is still looking the same but the transmitter is not getting any signal.
So my understanding is that the transmitter has failed and for some reason it is not shown on the log file.
I would like to use WEAagain on bigger planes 'cause it is very handy. But it will be after few years until I've tested it on a cheaper plane. This crash cost me 12 000€., the previuos one was only few houdred €.
