I had an AW Extra 260 (.60-.90). It was an outstanding airframe (note the past tense) with a spectacular roll rate, great snaps, etc. It was VERY sensitive to weight. I had an OS AX 1.20 on the nose, and she was about 12 oz above recommended wt. With the higher wing loading, she would snap unexpectedly with modest (low rate) elevator input, which ultimately led to her demise. If you are careful about weight, and keep it within a few oz of recommended, I think you will love the plane.

To stay on topic, it was a much more aerobatic, but much less forgiving airframe than the R70.
