I have a question about my Saito 180. I ran it a few days ago (bought used). I put Morgan 5% nitro, 5% castor, 15% synth fuel. Used a 16x8 prop. The exhaust was very smokey, but when I pinched the fuel line, it quit instantly. So that told me that I was not running too rich. The throttle transitions were also instantaneous. But at those settings, I was getting around 8500 rpm at WOT. Is that expected, or should I be getting more power? I imagine higher nitro will give more RPM, but for now, I plan on running 5%. Thanks.
