If you fly BVM, the jump to turbines I think is quite logical. Compare the basic cost difference between a BVM power setup and a small turbine:

BVM .91 = $535
Viofan = $295
Puffer pipe = $120
Mixture control = $42

That's about $1000. An MW54, which can be bought in "kit" form can be purchased for about $1600. The MW54 will fly all of BVM's ducted fan airplanes. Just another way of looking at it.
