I had this problem with the factory 30A ESC after about 45 seconds of 30% -50% throttle. I didnt even get to take off before the thing fried. So I bought a Dynam Detrum 60A and all is well. I thought it better to just go ahead and buy a replacement instead of paying for shipping to xheli only to get a 30A back that I plan on replacing soon anyway.
Brand new at this forum. I had just bought the G2 and got it here in Afghan like a week ago. Ilove it. Still just hovering and getting used to it since it is my first 6CH ( Ive been flying for 2 years off and on and have two 4CH which are Exceed Falcon 40 and WarHawk 300) so not quite used to the collective pitch. Now it has no problems at all but i do see it has some over heating issues with the ESC. I think im gonna go ahead and get a better one just to be ready for it to go like it has been doing for others. I found one on exceed and wanted to know if it will be ok to use. I am new to this still so i would appreciate the help.

No that ESC wont work with your G2 because is a airplanes ESC.
