Did what you said. The spring is still intact. The way the mechanism works is that the spring is on the left side of the gimbal stick, so that when you give left aileron, the spring stretches. When you give right aileron, there is a rocker arm with a small 1/4" rod that pushes the right side of the rocker arm down stretching the spring on the left. The molding holding that small 1/4" rod broke loose. Going to try to glue the mechanism back with the rod attached. If holds should work, if not, I'll probably have to send in for a new right gimbal mechanism ?

Not sure why it broke loose, did not give any undue pressure-probably age.
