RE: Has anyone built this model (Cobra)
Irish,
I stretched the fuse about 1.5-2.0" from cockpit to tail feathers (on Coba II), but the canopy and cowl fit perfectly to the plans.
Would be a blast to meet Gray Beard in NV, but his flying field at the Eldorado Dry Lake Bed is pretty small....it's only 20 square miles as I remember it. The Eldorado Valley Flyers headquartered in Boulder, NV fly there and Gray Beard may already be a member of their club.
The QSAA held their annual fly-in there for years and years before they broke up. Too bad...its was a great event and probably one of the original 1/4 scale events anywhere. I'm game to meet anybody there...anytime...bring your COBRAS!!
