So naturally a very dark morning, cloads start to clear around noon ans sun shines, but as quicly as that it tips it down
. Finally stops raining a little while ago so I got in there before the light totaly faided!
But to start some of my progress whilst waiting, I wanted the commander to have a helmet on but knew crew wore the tanker hat underneath. I requested Nickmow to make a mould similar to the 21st C one and it looks great, I cut up accordingly so the Tam helmet (I think) would fit over as appears;
Helmet top left (duh
) removed section top right, whats left bottom.....left and moulded hat bottom right.
I painted this and fixed to helmet inner near bottom, look closely at commander in next pics (will do better pics with all details when properly finished).
(the '30' in yellow circle took ages to do
and isnt perfect but close enough)
Got a couple little details for stowage left so will update with nicer pics soon hopefully. Cheers guys
