RE: Question about Retracts (Corsair Gold Edition Kit)
The combination of watching some youtube videos and with what you guys have said, has convinced me that Electric retracts are the best choice for me. However I'm still concerned about the struts. I currently feel that Robart Struts are over priced. I'm not concerned about my struts looking scale. I just want to know which ones are the most compatible with the Retracts, and which ones are going to hold up the best. I know my plane isn't going to look a 100 percent scale anyways. As far as model building experience goes. We successfully built every plane we tried. Starting with Eagle 2 as our first. The Hog Bipe as our second. The super Chipmunk as our Third. We also have an Extra 300L mostly finished. With the ARFs we've done the Singer 60, U Can Do 3D 60, and the Zlin 526. We also put together two other planes for a friend. I've been flying a Corsair mini foamy.
