Check one of the 1961 Model Airplane news magazines. There is a write up on the Voodoo in it. I can dig it out but not tonight. Also the ads for the kit didn't start until then.

Another little item, The Voodoo instructions show a Johnson Combat Special which wasn't made until late 1960 so the kit had to have come out later than than that.
