Thanks for posting.

Colin speaks very highly of you.

His great results with the NV diesel conversion head is the reason I ordered mine. Apparently, his example was better made than mine, but I have not given up as yet. A little more touch up on a lathe is probably all it needs, but in it's original condition it would not seal with two or three head gaskets. I even switched to Cox gaskets (they appear to be a little thicker), and used three or four of those with no improvement in compression seal.

Perhaps there is a problem with my Norvels, as I made no attempt (nor do I have the tools) to measure the space between the end of the cylinder threads, and the head sealing lands. These are very early Norvels with the adhesive mounted venturi, and non Revlite cylinders, so there may be minor differences from later production.

Anyway, it's been interesting, and I will post any progress in this thread.
