I see. You must have put lacquer on top of enamel - no can do. If you haven't tried the DC filler primer, try it, you'll like it. Then you can paint color using lacquer (e.g., perfect match) and if you want, you can put an acrylic enamel clear coat on top of that after wet sanding and cleaning. Lacquer will just not hold on top of enamel.
