With rain bucketing down outside today, I skipped on going to the airfield. Instead, my wife asked me to help planting new plants in the garden in the rain breaks. This gave me an opportunity to do a bit of unplanned work on the Me-109.
First, Isanded the Gorilla glue where it came out of the glue joints of the left aileron, and trimmed the Fliteskin to match the outer shape where needed. Ithen used balsa filler to fix my aileron LE. Iwill sand it all up with fine sandpaper and am considering fibre-glass sheeting of this area, probably I will do both ailerons at the same time.
Ithen started work on the right aileron. So much easier second time
