Here's my house last February. Wanna go flying?
Ha! Hey, remember the guy from Norway? He'd take a thermos of hot water to the icefield... pour it over the fins just before attaching the glow heater... fire it up and fly with a transmitter mitt. I believe he was talking about minus 30 or some such.

I'm much too delicate to do that any more, but there were times when we walked to the field, below zero, trudging into the wind (both ways), etc...
