Linking 2 receivers to the same radio has been done for years on airplanes. So I imagine that it can be done with car radios. Now be careful, both cars will react to the controller, and if the cars are electric and powered up, they will bot react to the controller. So make sure to power off the one you do not want to drive.

You cannot link two radios to the same receiver.
