Sorry, I don't remember the jumpers or making any adjustments. You can hook up a battery checker to the ignition line coming out of the IBEC to check its voltage before attaching to the ignition. I will be removing the cowl in the next couple of days and will check it out myself. I think the voltage on mine was around 5.6. I will post my findings.
