In my humble opinion, if is your first jet, you need a trainer or a scale jet, but not full scale, because if is full scale like F-15 for example, you will need install sequencer in the doors, airbrake, brakes, flaps, lights and open canopy and is possible that you are a master in all things but at the moment of truth all this things are too much for the first jet.

You can to buy an Avonds F-15 (best scale F-15) and when you are tired to fly you can add scale options for change to full scale.

But in the end the most important thing is that you like the model that you choose, not for to be the best in scale you need to buy it, because if you make this thing you never love your jet.
