RE: Another Fliteskin ME 109 build thread
Over the last couple of days, Imanaged to complete the left flap and covered it with Fliteskin. What I still need to do is to sand both flaps and give them some finishing touches.
Also today at the airfield Matt has delivered to me the drilled Brass and Stainless Steel 1/4" tubes for the flap operation. He did very nice job on it saving me from dealing with the dilemma of modifying the operation of the flaps to multiple servos. Iwill probably use the stainless steel tubes as they are a bit lighter. My next step will be to install the tubes and the socket head screws through them while Ihave access from the "top" of the wing. Then Ican cover the top wing with Fliteskin.
The last surprise waited for me at home when Ifound a mail package at the door from Bisson, Canada, with the muffler for the MVVS30. First time Igot mail delivery on Sunday...
