Hey Guys,

I don't want to start a controversy.... I'm just a a real newbie to gas motors and so have been reading, learning and lurking.

I have my DLE-20 waiting to go into a VQ Hurricane. It's a tight installation and looks like it will require a custom JTec muffler. Then I found the threads outlining the steps to run on Gas/Glow with no ignition.

Do you know if the DLE-20 has run this way? Any insights you guys could give to this specifically to the DLE-20 would be great.

I'm really looking forward to the change over from electric to gas. The miserly way they sip fuel and the ease of use really call out to me.

When I found the Gas/Glow info I was instantly impressed with the lack of need for the ignition in both it's simplicity and extra room it would afford.

As a total newbie do you think it would be worth it for me? Would the DLE-20 be a good candidate for Gas/Glow?
